Winner Updates 3-Piece Quiver

Jonathan we admire your Flexon collection and deem it best of the locker room. There’s still a little spare shelf space, so we’ll add some Full Tilts to that collection! Check out his entry!

Ahhh, the venerable Flexon. Growing up skiing at the 270’ vertical drop Boston Mills in Ohio bashing bumps was really about the only thing we did to have fun. There were no terrain parks so the only jumps we could get away with were doubling moguls in close proximity. No Park Bulley’s grooming out kickers daily.

This collection of Flexons has taken me through my 20’s and now into my late 30’s in style. I keep getting older and skiing terrain keeps getting better, which is kind of a bummer but the Flexon’s have kept me happy and relatively shinbang-free for a while.

I now instruct at a little resort in Southeast Michigan and I am the minority in the locker room when it comes to boots. Lots of Technicas and other stiff-as-hell race boots and my Flexon’s are there every day, bucking the trend, people ask me all the time what kind of boot that is. I am kind and answer them…but I am thinking, “Dude, if you have to ask then you wouldn’t get it”.

I would love to keep spreading the good word in a pair of fresh Full Tilts.

Thanks for bringing these legendary boots back!

Old Boot Life of Party

Not only was Charles-Eric Dolce’s old ski boot given new life and purpose by making it the life of the party, it made its way to the upper echelons of ski society… Andy Parry.

With freeskiing going to the Olympics, it seems like part of the sport is starting to take itself a little bit too seriously and forgetting about the fun part of the freeski lifestyle. So, one hungover morning while on the ski lift, I started to wonder what my ski/party crew and I could build to represent our sport and bring that vibe back as much as possible. We decided to build a beer bong in a ski boot. To build this magnificent piece of art, we had to sacrifice an old pair of ski boots, invest gigantic amounts of money in a hardware store and spend countless hours building it. In the end, when we saw the result, we knew we had something very special in our hands.

I’m asking you guys at Full Tilt for a pair of boots because I feel that your company is all about that vibe, providing high performance equipment while not taking yourself too seriously. The picture shows the boot after 8 months straight of partying, Full Tilt’s very own Andy Parry at the IF3 while claiming his prize for the Line Traveling Circus and myself drinking from it.

Winner Rockin the Flexons since 88′

February’s winner of ‘Show Us Your Boots!’ over at Tetongravity.com has had these Raichle Flexons since before they were retro. Since 89′ Jason Bird has been rockin’ these Flexon Comps  and now this father of three can breathe easy knowing he’ll be in some brand new Full Tilts soon!

Check out his entry below!

On 2/27/12 while at snowbowl in Missoula MT my velcro came off the power band strap. Bought these boots brand new at gull ski back in the winter of 88-89 i think. I am a father of three and new boots really are not in the budget for me. I was in the 7th or 8th grade when i bought my flexon comps. I think they are about a half size to small. I love the photo on full tilts page of the classic boot. I figured I would throw my old k2 gyrators in with the boot… keepin it classic! jbird

Vintage 3-Piece Boots Getting Replaced

January’s winner of ‘Show Us Your Boots!’ over at Tetongravity.com has some pretty sick original Raichles which, we have to be honest, are dying to display in the office. So maybe Nick would be down to trade for some brand new Full Tilts?! Check out his below!

I got so excited to see you’ve brought my beloved Flexon comp boot back. I own the Flexon Comp VIP model which has special graphics to commemorate the 1989 Vail World Championship. I used them for over 12 years till I became too self conscious of the dated color scheme. By then the Flexon was gone from the market so I switched brands. Always felt the Flexon was the best ever but vanity kept me off them. The Full Tilt will become my next boot. Please enter me in your contest. I can also supply you more photos of the Raichle Flexon 5 and Flexon Slalom which I purchased in the last years of existence, but didn’t like. Too heavy and klunky.

The Original Hot Doggers

December’s winner of ‘Show Us Your Boots!’ over at Tetongravity.com could possibly be one of the most creative to date! Did Mitch Jensen just design next year’s boot for us?! Check out his entry below:

The original Hot Dogger.

Ski Boot Features:
Original 3-Meat Design
Medium #6 Premium Beef Frank tongue for maximized flavor
Whole Wheat Bun Bootboard absorbs messes
Stadium Brat Buckles for lightweight on-the-go eating
Classic Yellow Mustard Cables

Although it looks like I’m ready for this ski season, a long day on the slopes sure makes me hungry…and I’d rather have a boot that I wasn’t tempted to eat!

Pond Skim to Face = October Winner

Pond skims are not for the faint of heart. Generally they always end with an abrupt and awkward fall to either frigid water, side netting or in the case of our Show Us Your Boots October winner, face to hard ground. Hayley Fedorek from Monroeville PA had the cajones to ignore the many brutal falls that went before her and go full speed into the 7 Springs pond, only to slam her face into the lip at the end.

Luckily she was ok but her boots have never really recovered from the traumatic and somewhat embarrassing moment, now she’ll have some boots that aren’t waterlogged.
